How to Install Unvelion on Mac

  1. Download the universal Mac DMG.

    Use Download for Mac above. Both applications are included.

  2. Find your download.

    Look in Downloads, or the folder you chose in your browser.

  3. Open the DMG.

    Double-click the downloaded file to open the installation window.

  4. Install both applications.

    Drag Unvelion Studio and Unvelion Reader into the Applications shortcut. They can be installed independently.

  5. Launch from Applications.

    Open Unvelion Studio or Unvelion Reader.

  6. If macOS displays a security warning.

    These independently distributed applications are ad-hoc signed and are not Apple-notarized. After first trying to open the app, and only if you trust this official download, go to System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway, if offered. Confirm Open when prompted.

    Wording and availability vary by macOS version and device policy. Do not disable Gatekeeper globally. For a damaged-app or malware warning, stop and contact support.

  7. Sign in and start creating.

    Sign in to your Unvelion account in Studio. Use Reader to open your downloaded books.

How to Install Unvelion on Windows

  1. Step 1 — Download Unvelion

    Click Download for Windows.

    Read the information popup, select I Understand, and click Continue Download.

  2. Step 2 — Confirm Your Download

    Chrome may display a security warning.

    Open the download notification and select Download anyway, if available.

    Only continue with the installer downloaded from the official Unvelion website.

  3. Step 3 — Open Your Download

    Double-click UnvelionStudio_Pack.exe.

  4. Step 4 — Windows Security Notification

    Windows may display a blue window titled:

    “Windows protected your PC”

    Click More info.

    If you recognize the installer as your official Unvelion download and choose to proceed, click Run anyway.

  5. Step 5 — Install Unvelion

    Follow the installation wizard and click Install.

    Both Unvelion Studio and Unvelion Reader install together.

    Two desktop shortcuts are created:

    • Unvelion Studio
    • Unvelion Reader
  6. Step 6 — You’re Ready!

    Open either application using its desktop shortcut.

Important Information Before Downloading

Unvelion Studio is an independently developed application.

We distribute Unvelion Studio directly through our website, rather than through the Apple App Store or Microsoft Store.

Your download will complete normally.

However, when you click the Unvelion Studio application icon to open the program for the first time, your computer may display a security warning.

This is a security check from macOS or Windows.
It does not mean the application is unsafe.

Includes Unvelion Studio and Unvelion Reader. Unvelion Studio and Unvelion Reader are currently available for Mac and Windows computers.
